| ABOUT THE HOSTS: | ||
Your Host: Roy Garibaldi
In 2000, Garibaldi created the “Positive Side of Sports” radio show. The unique format highlighted athletes and their accomplishments, hobbies and charities with candor and humor. Regular celebrity co-hosts included famous sports figures and local personalities. After it’s debut in February of 2000, the one of a kind show quickly became the most listened to sports talk radio show in Arizona. Building on the success of “Positive Side of Sports”, Garibaldi recently incorporated entertainment, health, relationship and general interest segments into the show, while maintaining the “positive” theme of his original concept. The new show title, “Positive Side of Life, Sports & Entertainment” reflects the exciting changes to the format of the radio show. On October 16, 2009, Garibaldi’s new “Positive Side of Life, Sports & Entertainment” will debut as a thirty-minute television show on Fox 10, one of the top-rated television stations in Phoenix. In addition to his radio and television shows, Garibaldi dedicates a large amount of his time to local and national charities, including his own 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, “The Positive Side of Sports Foundation”.
